Daughtry

Last night I surprised Lance by taking him to the Daughtry concert. He loves the group and I thought he would enjoy going. He was so funny at first. He didn't know how a concert was so he thought it would be stupid and last only 15 or 20 minutes. John and I explained to him that it would be fun and a late night. We started out night at Chipotle and then headed to the concert. Her is Lance outside Jobing.com Arena.

The first act was Cavo. I had never heard of them but they were good. Lance a little shocked at how loud the music was.

Lifehouse was next and they were great. There drummer was from Gilbert so that was fun to hear. I now want to get one of their albums.

Daughtry was so good. Lance sat with his arms folded and I kept asking him if he was ok and having fun. He kept answering yes and that he was just listening to the music. I was having a blast and loved the music.

Every time a song came on that he liked he would get a big grin and would tell me how much he liked the song.

During the encore Daughtry had the lead singer of Lifehouse come out a sing the song "Home" with him. It was so good.

It was such a fun night. Everytime we hear a Daughtry or Lifehouse song Lance will say, "remember when we heard this song at the concert." I think he had just as much fun as I did.

The Battle of Chickamauga

Lance had to do a project for school on a Civil War battle. He had to do the research, write the report, and give a presentation. He was to dress as the character he was playing to give the account of the battle. He was the Confederate Gereral Braggs. He did well and looked so handsome.

Parade of Colors

Today for the preschool activity the had a parade of colors. Jenna's class was to wear blue. They sang all of the color songs and paraded around the parachute. It was very cute.

After the parade they sang and danced to different songs.

Briauna wanted to dance too.

After the program was done Jenna's class stayed and played with the parachute. I love Jenna's teacher. He is amazing with the kids.

Jenna was so sweet to Briauna and made sure she was happy.

O.J. 's Ranch

Yesterday we had the opportunity to go to a ranch. The police officer that helps at the kids school has a ranch and does a program that teaches kids about horses. They also got to go on a hayride, eat food, and see many other animals. It was a lot of fun. The boys had fun but only the girls rode horses. Garrett was kinda bored until he met another boy his age then it was ok.
Caleb getting ready to go on the hayride.

Calen and Broedy

Jenna enjoyed the horse. This is the girl that hated animals when she was younger.

Stuffington Bear Factory

This school year Jenna was part of a play group on Wednesday. This week it was at my house and my sister had invited me to go to the Stuffington Bear Factory on the same day. I decided to take all the girls with me. So I took 4 extra girls with me. It was very fun.

The factory was very small and everything is done by hand.

This was a wall of fur they used for the bears.

Jenna, Ann, and Kirsten

The weird man explaining how they turn the bear inside out after he is sewn.

Big Girl

We have a big girl in our house.
She has been doing great and we are so proud of her. I waited a little longer to potty train her mainly because I just didn't want to. I guess it paid off because she was so ready and has had hardly had any accidents. It is so nice to not have diapers anymore.

Pinewood Derby 2010

It is Pinewood Derby time again and again we have two cars to do. We let the boys pick the design and color and then let our imagination take hold. Caleb wanted a speeder car and Lance wanted an old fashion car. I think they turned out so good. The boys loved them and that is what is important.Lance

Caleb

Caleb was ready for the race. His car went faster backwards.

Lance was ready and won this race.

All of the boys got a certificate with candy attached. They loved the candy.

It was a fun day and I was so glad that it was over. Way to stressful getting those silly cars done.

Easter

Easter weekend we went up to the Lowry's house in Prescott. We always have fun when we go up. I was going to be a different Easter without my mom so we thought it might be fun to just get away.

Jenna, Hailey, Briauna, and Katelyn enjoyed sitting and watching a movie in Grandma Barbara and PaPa Toby's bed.
Garrett and Nathan enjoyed their IPod Touch.

Lindsay made a cute basket for the girls for an Easter surprise. They loved all of the goodies.

This mom is not very good and hasn't made colored eggs very often. I just don't like the mess. Toni brought the stuff and the kids had a lot of fun.

Hailey and Jenna are the best of buddies.

Briauna and Katelyn had fun playing together.

Lance and Caleb played with Noah in the great outdoors. Hiking and exploring are great forms of entertainment.

I had to get a picture of John watching conference.

Garrett decided to help make a dam in the creek across the street.

Briauna and Caleb were entertaining themselves on the way home.
She loves sitting by him.
