Indiana Trip

We were very fortunate to go to Indiana for John's brothers wedding. Our wonderful neighbors helped us get tickets and we took the girls and went for a few days. Our friend/neighbor/former teacher stayed with the boys. It was a great trip but next time we will take the boys with us.
Waiting for our airplane to arrive so we can leave.
Getting ready to take off. Briauna was smiling here but that didn't last. She got very scared and wouldn't let go of me for about an hour. I also had to close the shade so she couldn't see out.

We got to ride the Shamu airplane.

As soon as we arrived in Indianapolis we drove to Kentucky to visit with John good friend from high school Chad and his family.

Their neighborhood was so different from AZ neighborhoods. Everyone had 2 - 5 acres. We took a walk to feed some horses. Briauna liked the horses from far away. Jenna has no fear and loved feeding them.

Chad's dog got away and decided to go swimming with the ducks. Then another dog was tagteaming to get the ducks. Chad had to go in and get him. It was so funny. Luckily the dog didn't catch any ducks.

Then the girls got to pick some vegetables.

Next they got to pick raspberries.

Chad and Amy took us to lunch at an old inn built in 1821. It was along a creek by the woods. It was so beautiful.

The view from the table.

We took a little bridge across the creek and took some pictures by the waterfall. The hold weddings at this spot.

My silly girls.

Amy, Chad, John, and Steph

John had to climb the tree.

Next we drove up to Marion Indiana. It was a drive but very neat to watch the landscape change. Kentucky was very green and hilly and up near Marion was flat.
Here we went to play at the park for some down time.

Mom and Jenna

The girls loved the slide.

Next we went to the wedding. It was held at a old historic mansion. It was so neat. The wedding was outside then we went in for the dinner and dancing.

Here is Charlotte and her two sons Braeden and Jaerdon.

This is Brandon, Aaron's son.

This is Corbin, Aaron's younger son.

The happy couple Charlotte and Aaron. We love Charlotte, she is great for Aaron.

Grandma and Grandpa Dubois

The next day we headed up toward Lake Michigan. I thought the girls might like seeing it. I love this picture of Briauna.

We met up with the Bedfords, our old neighbors who moved back to Michigan in the summer. Jenna and Raelyn were so happy to see each other.

The water was so cold but they didn't care.

Briauna was so happy to see her buddies Adalyn and Myles. Broedy was so bummed that the boys weren't there.

The lake.

Jenna and Raelyn

John and Chris walking back from our hike on the dunes.

After we left Michigan we went to see my grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousin. I have not seen any of them in 14 years.
This is Kevin and his adorable family.
This is Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Steve.

Great Grandma loved seeing the girls.

Grandma and Grandpa Bogielski.

The girls played in the basement with an old childrens organ. It looked the same as I remember. It brought back a lot of memories of when we visited as a kid.

Grandma spoiled the girls and gave them snacks and soda.

This is their house. Again it looks just like I remember. It was so sad to leave them. I can't wait to go back and visit. Next time we will stay longer of course let my boys meet their family.

Leaving Marion on a cold, foggy day.

Ready to go home but can't wait to go back.

Jenna was a pro at the whole airplane deal by the end.

Briauna did so much better going home but she still insisted the shade be closed.

Jenna loves the plane ride.

Our ride home was so fun. Southwest was amazing. The flight attendants were so funny, they were very good to the girls, and even let Jenna help pass out the snacks. It was great.

The view out my window.

It's Football Time

It's that time of the year again. FOOTBALL!!! This year both Caleb and Lance are playing. This is Lance's 2nd time and Caleb's 1st. Caleb is so excited and Lance of course doesn't want to do it. He loves it when he gets started but he always needs that push. I know he will have fun playing with his buddies again. We love football. It is busy but the group of people we play with are great. We are so excited for this year.
Lance is a Junior Pee Wee. The ages for this team are 9, 10, and 11. This was the first game against a SEV team.

Caleb is on the Mighty Might and the ages are 7, 8, and 9. He is the one of the smallest guys on the team. Here is is getting ready for his first game. I wasn't there, I was at Lance's game so John took a lot of pictures.
