Our Ducks

We have a family of ducks that live in our neighborhood. It is so cute. Just a few weeks ago the ducklings were born. It is so fun to watch them. The mom quacks pretty loud if you get too close.

Grand Canyon State Games 2011

Yesterday the girls had their first baton competition. Jenna participated in the modeling, marching, team routine, and a presentation routine. Briauna participated in the marching event. It was so fun and the girls did great.

Here is my sweet girl. She did so great!!

Jenna is such a serious girl. She did great but was a bit nervous.

My baton beauties

This is Biauna and Coach Angela. She just loves her.

Here is the girls after the marching event. Jenna got 1st place and Briauna got 3rd place. They have been practicing so much for this day. I was so nervous for Briauna. With her being 3 you never know what she will do. The marching event they do a 32 count square with 8 counts on each side. Sometimes Briauna would do a circle and sometime a different shape. She did it perfect. She was the star of the day. When they were getting ready to hand out the award for her age group the music came on for another group and she started marching again and did the whole thing. Everyone thought it was so cute and they starting watching and clapping when she finished her encore.

It was a long day and the Ipod helped.

She even took a nap.

She kept telling every one that she got 1st and was proudly showing her medal.

Jenna was amazing. I was so proud of her. She is shy so for her to do the presentation, team performance, and marching was great. She loved it though. She got 1st in marching, 1st in presentation, 1st in the team routine, and second in military marching.

My winners. It was such a long day and they did great.

My friend captured this picture and I love it!!

Cub Scouts Day Camp 2011

This year I went to camp again but Caleb was the only one of the boys that went. I was able to do a day with him and a day with my Webelos. It was fun but of course very hot and wet.

They loved the swimming part especially since it was during the day when it is really hot.

They learned about animals and the cycle of life.

This was our den flag. They had to have it with them the whole time.

The leatherworking was fun and Caleb enjoyed it.

They had a cannon where they used 2 liter bottles and shot them off filled with water. They loved it.

The water balloon fights are always very fun.

I think archery was the favorite activity. It was a great time but exhausting.
