Arizona Military Museum

As I was thinking of things to do for the summer John found a website of all the different museums in Arizona. This military museum is closed in the summer so we decided to go on Memorial Day.

We weren't such what to expect but the kids really liked it. This is a case with different gas masks.

Here are some different military uniforms used in the past.

These guys loves the guns.

Garrett found a replica of the U.S.S Arizona.

They had cases that talked about the different wars. They had uniforms, guns, and many different item from the time.

The kids really like the helicopter.

The museum volunteers were so nice to let the kids get in and try it out.

It was a lot of fun. It was a perfect day to go and help us remember all those that serve this country everyday.

Her New Bike

Our neighbors were selling their daughters bike and we bought it for Briauna as an early birthday gift. She loves it. She always wants to be outisde like the big kids when they ride their bikes and now she can.

Myles was so cute helping her. They have a love hate relationship. When he was younger he would sit on her and now he loves her and is always helping her.

She got the hang of it really fast and before long she was riding down the street with Myles.

Family

My family is awesome. I love when we get together. We always have a lot of fun. My oldest nephew is going to school in Tucson and is going to the Ukraine for a month so we had dinner so say goodbye. Blake having fun with two of his neices Jenna and Ella.

The Little Gym

Jenna and Briauna's friends Shelby had her birthday at The Little Gym. We had never gone and it was so fun. Jenna loved doing flips.

Briauna loved the balance beam.

They had lots of activities for them to do.

They also played a lot of games. The girls had a blast.

Friends

We are lucky to have friends on our street. They love to play outside. Caleb and Broedy made a lake in the rocks for their cars and Legos.

End of the Year

The fifth grade team held a little awards ceremony to show the achievement the kids accomplished in fifth grade this year. Lance increased in math by 22%.

Lance also got an award for only missing one day of school this year. Tha day happen to be my mom's funeral.

Later that afternoon the got to celebrate at the park with a barbacque and water fun.

Preschool Graduation

Jenna has been so lucky to go to preschool and be in Mr. Jonathan's class. He was a wonderful teacher and taught her so much. At the end of the year he does a graduation for the parents.

We all got to watch a video he made showing some of the memories of the year. It was so amazing. He made videos and took a ton of pictures throughout the year. It was so neat to catch a glimpse of what she did everyday. We also got a copy of all the videos and picture he took. What a great treasure we have.

Jenna was given the award the Arizona Education Award because she always wanted to learn and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She was being a little shy when she was called up to get her book " All About Me ". He had little picture book of Jenna and her projects, books as gifts, and many other memories for her to keep.



Jenna made many friends. This is Owen her buddy. She will miss her friends next year.

Most of all we will miss Mr. Jonathan. He was wonderful.

End of the Year Party for Preschool

Jenna's preschool has a big end of the year party at the park for the families. Jenna has loved preschool so much this year and her teacher is so good. The whole family went and had fun. We know so many other kids that go to the preschool from church it was fun to sit and hang out with them.

We were getting ready to leave the park and dad and Briauna decided to swing for minute.

First Lost Tooth

Jenna lost her first tooth yesterday. I pulled it out because it was just hanging on. The saddest part is that I didn't even notice it was loose until a couple days ago when she smiled and it looked funny. She did great and is so excited for the tooth fairy.

Mother's Day 2010

This Mother's Day I was somewhat dreading. I wasn't sure how I would handle it with my mom being gone. We went to church where my kids were so wonderful (I am saying that very sarcastically). Afterwards went went to the cemetery to visit the plot. The headstone is not in yet so it was a little strange looking at dirt with flowers on it. It was pretty crazy all the people that have full on picnics at the cemetery. There were people with lawn chairs and canopies hanging out. I was glad we went. We had to explain to Jenna that the casket that grandma was in was now in the ground. I think she thought it would still be there where she could see it. It is a hard concept to understand. Briauna just kept saying," grandma's sleeping". Jenna left a flower she made it primary for grandma.

The boys did fine. We did walk around a bit and they were amazed at all of the children that passed away and at their tiny headstone.

We left some fake flower hoping that they would last a while. I am excited for the plot to be placed. It is so hard to believe that she is gone. I think of her a lot and miss her so much.

Football and Cheer Camp

Today we took the kids to a free football and cheer camp. Lance already played football last year but we wanted to sign Caleb up and I thought Jenna might enjoy trying cheerleading out.

Jenna had fun but was a little shy. She knew all the cheers but was nervous to do the movements in front of other people.

Laance was a little annoyed that we made him go since he was already going to play. He did have fun seeing some of his friends and coaches.

Caleb had a lot of fun and is excited to play football in the fall.
