Winter Concerts of 2009

This last week of school have been busy with Winter concerts. Tuesday Garrett had a band concert. The did really well. You could tell it was music. I am so proud of how well his has done with the trumpet.
Waiting for the 5th grade to finish up.
Getting ready to start

Wednesday we had Lance and Caleb's music concert. If you can tell from Lance's face his was not thrilled. How dare I make him wear a tie, church shoes, and tuck in his shirt.

Caleb did really well. He knew his song good and even did the actions.

Lance again not thrilled to be in front of people.

I got many comments of how funny he was and how it made peoples night watching him not be happy up on the stage. I also got it on video. I have to admit it was funny. He even survived wearing church cloths and got many comment on how nice he looked.

Favorites

Briauna has a few things that are favorites. One is her blanket or DD. That is it's name. She wold take it everywhere if I would let her. You can certainly tell it is loved by all of the patches and holes. Another favorite is a doll chair. She loves to sit on it and often takes it around the house and puts it where she needs to sit. She is the first of my kids to find things they loves and use them until they fall apart. She is so funny.

Briauna thought it was necessary to sit our side and watch on her chair.

A Family Visit

My mom is really sick. She has been battling cancer for a year. They sent her home from the hospital and her siblings came down for a visit and to help out for a little bit. My kids love family and warm up to them really fast.

This is my Uncle Stan. He has false teeth. The kids were fascinated with them when he stuck them out. It was a little crazy when he did it because I had flashbacks to when my grandpa did that to me when I was little. It made it so weird because Stan looks so much like my grandpa ( his dad ). It was so funny. It is funny how kids are amazed with anything new and weird.

A GIRL Party

Jenna really wanted a friends birthday this year so I decided to be brave and do it. I had never done a girl party and was a little nervous. I wasn't sure who would all come but we ended up with 13 girls with Jenna. Saturday we had it and it was sooooo fun. We made bracelets, hair bows, ate cake, played outside, and danced.A sample of some crazy hair bows they made.
The girls we so polite and very patient. I couldn't of asked for a better group of girls to have over.
Having fun on the trampoline.

A Birthday Full of Fun

Jenna had a fun birthday. She was so excited to open her presents she didn't even wait for dad and brother to get home to see her.She was so happy to get a radio.

I can't believe she is five.

She picked Mc Donalds for her birthday meal. We went for lunch on the way to school

At school her teacher did a special birthday celebration. We had a snack and she got to blow out a candle.

Then he read a book for Jenna. It had special birthday messages from all of her classmates. He is such a great teacher.

Jenna is 5

Today my Jenna is 5. I can't believe it. How much we love her. She is all girl and quite different after having the three boys. She is such a good girl and loves preschool. She behaves well and is a big helper. She loves playing with friends, doing crafts, and dressing up. She is so smart and I know she will love school next year. She is very social and a good friend and sister. We are so blessed to have her in our family.
