Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Tonight Jenna's preschool had a family activity. It was a pumpkin patch where they all got to pick a pumpkin and carve it with their family. We first weighed it and then measured it. Of course the best part is cleaning it out and carving. We all had a lot of fun with the different activities there were to do.

A New Do

Briuana's hair is always in her eyes and she is not a fan of hair clips to keep her hair out her eyes. So I get to look at her with her hair in her eyes all the time. So I finally had had it. I cut her some bangs. They didn't completely solve the problem but it is better. And she looks so cute with her new do.

Fun with Grandma

Jenna got to go with grandma to get a pedicure nad manicure. Jenna was so good grandma let her get her nails done as well. They went to lunch after to Taco Bell. Jenna loved it and was so excited to show off the nails.

The Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium

Today my mom wanted to take the kids and I to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium. I had never been there before and thought they would enjoy it. Briauna was so excited and loved all the animals.

First we headed to the Aquarium. They all really like it. Braiuna was so funny. Se was beyond excited.

Garrett loved the Stingrays. He saw them at the Phoenix Zoo last year and was so excited to pet them again. Caleb and Jenna both didn't want anything to do with petting them. Lance got brave and really likes them.

After the aquarium we headed toward the monkeys

The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese.

Next we got to see the tigers. They were so close it was a little creepy but very neat.

The Rhino was also very close. I was afraid he could leave his area if he wanted.

Lance and Briauna were imitating the camel as he was eating hay.

I think the giraffe was the favorite probably because the got to pet and feed him. They were a little amazed by the tongue.

At the end we headed over to the petting and playground to sit and relax before going home.

It was a great day and we all really enjoyed it.

Safeway

Today we got to go to our local Safeway for a tour with a group of moms in our ward. The kids were off of school for intersession so Caleb came along and Briauna stayed at home with Garrett. We started off at the Starbucks cart for samples of a strawberry ice cream drink. They all loved it.

Next we headed to the deli for samples of ham and cheese.

Then we went to the bakery to check how they make bread and cookie. Of course they got to try some freshly made chocolate chip cookies.

Now we are in the back were they keep the milk and freezer items. It was so cold.

Next was the meat department. We got to see the butcher cut and package the meat.

The final are was the produce and a taste of some yummy apples.

She is Two

Briauna is getting busier andbusier each day. She is so fun. We just love her happy disposition and love of life.

She loves wearing Jenna's backpack and any shoes she finds laying around.

She is a daredevil.

Hamster Derby

Jenna goes to pre-school in our district and loves it. The have a class hamster named Harvey. Harvey participated in the 2nd annual Hamster Derby at Petco near our home. Jenna had been talking about it so we went to support Harvey. We had a lot of fun even though Harvey didn't win. He did win the sleepy award. I guess they need to have the race at night he he is more awake.
