I'm Two

I can do lots of fun stuff like:

put on my favorite pink shoes by myself

play jump rope

play with Garrett's jackets

play in a bucket

and pout. Yes, I am two

Wild Weather

The weather the last couple of days has been crazy. Living in Arizona we don't see much rain but holy cow we got a years worth in one day. The poor people up north got as much as 50in. of snow. It rained the entire day on Thursday. These are some trees behind our house.

A Fun Visit

Today we had the Lowry girls at our home while their mom had to work down here in Phoenix. Jenna loves when Hailey comes to play and they all had so much fun.

Katelyn and Briauna were funny to watch play.

Now they were dancing and being princesses.

Daddy's Helpers

Today was a day that the whole family had off. We decided to get some of the chores done that we all hate doing ie. changing the oil, fixing bikes and shining shoes. Jenna and Briauna love to help so they did just that and helped. John showed Garrett how to fix the bikes and he did a great job.

Briauna climbed right under the car and started picking up tools to help it was so funny. The dirty ground didn't bother her at all.

Jenna got real into shining the shoes. When they were done she wanted to find more to do.

Uncle Scott

Yesterday we went to my brother's home to watch the football game and eat dinner. I thought it was so cute when I looked into the back yard and Briauna just made herself at home and was chatting away with Uncle Scott.

Now they were chatting about the birds and pool. Scott said he didn't understand 3/4 of what she said but she was sure telling him lots of stuff. Jenna would then tell him what Briauna was saying. Leave it up to the sister to interpret the 2yr old.

The Great Arizona Puppet Theatre

Today we had the opportunity to go to the Puppet Theatre with Jenna's preschool. I had never been and thought Jenna would love it. The play was Cinderella.

Jenna had several friends go so she was excited and had a lot of fun.

This is the theatre. It is an old LDS church building. I think it was dedicated in 1910.

New Bedrooms

We have been talking about changing the rooms around in the house and I finally decided to just do it while I was taking the Christmas stuff down. I wanted to put the girls in Lance and Caleb's room and switch the boys into their room. I thought this would be good so if we ever wanted to get rid of the playroom it would be easier. The boys only play with Legos so most of the toys in the playroom was the girls. The boys were not happy about this because there room is the biggest and they felt that they needed the space. So on a whim I decided to give Lance and Caleb their own room and get rid of the playroom. Caleb went down stairs to the playroom and Lance went to Jenna's old room. Caleb has some of the boy stuff in his room so it works out great. I never thought I would give them their own room but so far it has been great. They go to bed easier and I don't have giggling, playing, or fighting at bedtime. It is wonderful. Here are pictures of the new rooms.
