When my great grandma passed awat a few years ago my mom found some old hats at her house. I had seen them a few times but forgot about them until I was cleaning stuff out after my mom died. I though it would be fun to take a picture of the boys with the hats. They all think they are pretty neat.

The Hair is Gone
I took the plunge and cut off Lance's hair tonight. It wasn't easy and he did put up a fight. I was just going to give it a trim but he was being a stinker so I got mad and cut a big chunk off so I had to cut it. After he was done he was ok with it. Then after his shower he like how he could see and his hair was not covering his eyes.He is stubborn but I sure do love him.

Baton
Today the girls started baton lessons. A friend of mine is the cheer coach for the football organization the boys play for and she started teaching baton lessons. She has done baton since she was three. I was so excited for the girls to try it out. Briauna did pretty good but may be too young. I guess we will just have to see. Jenna liked it but did say her arm was sore after.

Phoenix Zoo
Today I got to go on another fiel trip with Jenna to the zoo. I don't really like the zoo so I wasn't super excited but Jenna wanted me to go. I had two other girls in my group so it was super easy to wake care of them. Jenna and Rikki weren't excited that they couldn't be in the same group because both I and Rikki's mom went. It was a great trip and I had a lot of fun. The weather was wonderful and the girls all had fun.
This is Riki, Janney and Jenna.
Youth Museum
Today my friends Shawna and I took our girls to the Museum for Youth in Mesa. I got Culture Passes from the library. It was fun but I am glad the admission was free. It was good for Briauna to get out and have some fun.Her finished monster picture.
She is getting really good at cutting with scissors. She loves doing crafts.

One Year
Today marks the one year anniversary since my mom died. I was kind of dreading this day but it turned out very nice. My dad, Scott, Stacy, and I all planned to meet at the grave and then us kids had a picnic at a nearby park. It was very nice to spend time with them. I think we all had a hard time believing that it has been a year. So much has happened. My dad is dating someone and has moved to Prescott. The house is up for sale and some of the traditions are lost. We no longer meet every Sunday and life is just different. I still have all my memories and pictures which I will always cherish. I miss my mom and am sad that she is not here to see my children grow. I know that I will see her again and I know she is happy.

Today was the Laveen Anual Parade. We have participated in this parade for a couple of years and it is super fun. I thnk more people participate in the parade than watch the parade. Lance and Caleb got to walk in the parade with both football and wrestling.
