We are house/pool sitting for our neighbors this summer. We went over on Saturday to make sure everything was good and went swimming. Well Garrett thought he should keep with the family tradition by breaking his front tooth on the bottom of the pool. When it happened he jumped out of the pool and ran into the house. I did not know what was going on until he can out crying and showed us. Needless to say I was pretty mad. The great guy John is reassured Garrett that it would be fine and showed him his front tooth that he broke as a kid. Garrett was really upset and was so afraid that he would get a silver tooth. We then told him of the many family members that we have that did the same thing. he kept saying that he looked like a freaking vampire. By Sunday he was fine and showed everyone what happened. Monday we took him in and it only took 1 1/2 hrs and it looks as if nothing happened at all.

i can REALLY sympathize. Along with the embarrassment... IT HURTS!
the fix it looks great. now he just gets to look forward to a crown someday.
(funny, I think his break was a lot like mine)
wow, it looks perfect! poor kiddo.
How does one break a tooth on the bottom of the pool and not injure their nose also? I guess leave it to one of your boys :) I'm glad he's o.k. and that the dentist was able to fix it like new again.
poor baby! that's a fear of mine with my kids! thank goodness it worked out!
BTW, i have a question for you - but i'll just email you. :)
