We went to California for a trip to celebrate Lance, Caleb, and Briauna's birthday. I didn't feel they really needed anything so we thought instead on spending money on just stuff we would go to Knott's Berry Farm and the beach.
We left Sunday morning on our adventure. I was a little nervous driving with all 5 kids(this was our first time). We had a laptop, personal DVD player, and a 2 screen car DVD player. We thought with all of this they would do fine. We were at about Tonopah and Jenna asked if we were still in Arizona. I laughed and thought this was going to be a long trip.
The kids loved the windmills.
After we got checked into the hotel we went to Santa Monica Pier to see what it was like.
The kids loved all of the swings, rings, and playgrounds equipment that there was to play on. They wanted to come back the next day.
After we were done playing we headed up to Hollywood to see the sign and see the walk of fame. We made it but didn't get out, it was so busy. There were also some interesting people walking around. Then we got lost heading back to the hotel. California has a crazy freeway system. Next time I am getting a GPS.

I love the beach, it's the best free entertainment. looks like you guys had fun. I'm excited to see more pictures.
Well the next time you go I want to plan it together looks like you had so much fun!!! And wouldn't that be fun to spend a vacation together. Since we never got to do our trip together 6 years ago. Hmmmm think about it and perhaps we can plan something next summer.
